THE LORD OF THE RINGS is a legendary epic and one of the best fantasy fiction ever written.I watched the movies first and loved them and I realised that I had to read the books which I must say rendered a heartfelt experience right since the first page of the 3 books of the triology. Its a tongue-tied experience as you feel when you read LOTR through its course of the rivers, mountains, swamps, forests etc. that it gets impossible to believe that you are just reading it and not truly facing it. J. R. R. Tolkien has done a spectacularly marvelous job by writing LOTR . His descriptions of the people, places, cultures, languages, history, and events of Middle Earth are just so incredibly rich and detailed, it is fascinating to me to learn about them as I read. I find the characters to be very interesting, to the point where I have grown to deeply love them and sympathize with them. LOTR explores humane emotions and relations like friendship, loyalty, bravery, greed, faith, and many more. I have read LOTR just once as yet but I imagine I'll read it many more times. There is so much that you get to know and learn about this great great writer as you read LOTR . J. R. R.
