The Raven

The Raven - Edgar Allan Poe, Gustave Doré This famous poem is a grisly exploration of a man, his memories of Lenore, and the raven that interrupts his work on a dark December night, with constant tapping at his chamber door. All the Poe works that I've managed to read so far, I have audio-read them while at work and this poem specifically held my interest till the end owing to the beautifully artistic way its written. I have come to admire Poe's writing style irrespective of poetry or horror. I quite simply love them all.
